December was quite a busy month! It began with Eli turning 8 and shortly after he was baptized. The big day was on the 15th. It was such a special day. He was so excited that his turn had finally come. He had to watch Matthew get baptized just 3 months earlier and he was ready to jump in there and get it done then!
Here, they do stake baptisms, so we shared the day with 3 other children. My friend, Debbie Packer, is in the stake primary presidency and so she gave the talk on baptism and her daughter played a beautiful piano solo.
It was such a beautiful day. The spirit that was felt was strong. We are so proud of Eli and his choice to follow the Savior and be baptized. He always is striving to make good choices and is a great friend to everyone.
