Christmas festivities

We've lived here for 6 1/2 years and had no idea that Norco had a horse parade of lights. I was propbably the only one excited, but I drug them and somne friends along! A few years ago my kids experienced a parade "Idaho style". This means they threw out endless candy to all the kids, so my kids said they weren't interested unelss candy was involved. What...are you kidding me???? What has this world come to? What happened to an old fashioned, home town parade? I thought for sure my little cowboy would be excited. His response was, "Well, if I can't ride a horse I don't want to go." Well, I won. We went. I want to do amny different Christmas festivities this year. This was an easy one that looked fun! Well, ok. It was a little long and a little dark. The kids were cold and hungry, but when do you get to see homemade floats pulled by tractors in the dark! Priceless family time that I'm sure they'll be talking about for years! I'm already thinking about next year and how we can make it better! Chairs for sure, hot chocolate and cookies! Now that's what I'm talkin' about.

It really is hard to see the lights that were all over the horses.

Only in Norco!
