We also went to the beach while they were here and had so much fun. I seriously had never seen So. California beach water as clear as it was. It was aqua in color and you could see straight through it. We also have never been to the tide pools. Next time we would like to get there earlier so we could see more, but we did get to see many things including a bright orange starfish. Another fun thing for us was to watch the pilot whales out in the ocean!

Wow, you are really getting caught up. You sure had a lot of fun. It looks like you made the most of your time together.
Who needs Sea World! The pictures were amazing, I can't believe all the wild life. The kids are getting too big as far as I'm concerned. I love all the spring colors, goodbye winter drab...bring on the heat!
hooray! I am loving all the recent posts! I live in the middle of the ocean and haven't seen a starfish in the tide pools yet! that is awesome!
