The Dentist

We have dentist appointments for the whole family next month, but Matthew has a cavity that I was afraid needed to be looked at sooner. So off to the dentist we went. This was his first trip and so I was a little nervous to see how this was going to go. I had to call in reinforcements...Grandma Nana. Our dentist is the best. Matthew is the kid that just sits back watches everyoine else and then decides if it is worth his time to try it. We put him in that chair and he tried so hard to be brave. The tears started to quietly come and he did his best to hold them back. Our dentist and his hygenist were so good with him and talked him through every step. They were able to get an xray and get a good look at his teeth. Yes he has a cavity and 2 more begining. They decided it could wait until next month and just clean his teeth to see how he does with that. Overall he did VERY well. He also said he was willing to come back so they could fix his tooth. I hope next month goes just as well. Atleast dad and grandma Nana will be there for that one. We have the whole office to ourselves for 2 hours. Yep, that is what happens when everyone goes all at once!
